Bombay Brasserie

It may not be a surprise to find that hotels have the Thanksgiving dinner spread covered. It makes sense: Hotels are accustomed to welcoming guests 365 days a year, and (of course) that includes Thanksgiving. The relatively new Bombay Brasserie offers French and Indian cuisine all other days of the year, but for Thanksgiving, the new Taj Campton Place restaurant will offer a traditional Thanksgiving three-course, prix fixe dinner for $65 per person. If you’re looking for an Indian dish add-on, a tandoori-spiced butternut squash dish with sprouted mung bean and pomegranate chaat is also available for $32. Reservations are available via OpenTable.

Top of the Mark

If you want the Most San Francisco Thanksgiving Ever, consider classing up your meal with a buffet dinner at Top of the Mark. The sweeping views of the city are a slam dunk, but when paired with herb-crusted turkey, Angus prime rib with au jus, or lobster ravioli, it’s an enticing option. There will be a live piano player, unlimited bubbles to keep the mood light, plus buffet stations offering dim sum, seafood, pasta, cheese, and more. There are two seatings, available at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving, and it’s $200 per adult and $85 for children ages 4 through 12. Reservations can be made through OpenTable.

Lord Stanley

If you want less of the hotel vibe, Lord Stanley is more than ready to host your Thanksgiving party. The Russian Hill restaurant will offer a four-course menu for $150 per person with options to boost your meal with supplements. Expect a meal of snacks and starters, culminating in an aged and roasted duck on its crown, followed by dessert. Reservations are available via Tock, and dinner runs from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

La Mar Cocina Peruana

For those who’d rather anything else but turkey, La Mar Cocina Peruana has an excellent option. For $350, the restaurant’s lechon asado package can feed up to five guests, featuring a frenched loin duroc pork chop glazed with aji panca-cranberry sauce, and more; a larger option that feeds up to 10 is available for $589. Now, all that being said, the restaurant also offers an organic turkey dinner option, starring a baked organic turkey breast and sides, priced at $300 for five servings or $559 for 10 servings. Both meals include a salad and sides, as well as a Peruvian chocolate cake, with pickup available on Thanksgiving Day between 10:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. The full menu is on the La Mar website and orders can be made via this link.

Abaca

If you’re looking for something a bit more nontraditional, Filipino restaurant Abaca offers a Kamayan Box that will feed up to four people for $260. Kamayan is a feast meant to be eaten with your hands (although that bit’s up to you) and comes with banana leaves to lay out your spread. The meal stars a turkey roulade with Knorr gravy, as well as seafood ginataan, a coconut milk-based dish, alongside empanadas and more. Extra dessert add-ons are available, such as a smoked ube pie and a kalabasa, or squash, cheesecake. The meal is available for pickup on Wednesday, November 27, between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., and preorders can be made via OpenTable.

Mattina

Chef Matthew Accarrino of Mattina will offer a selection of pies for the Thanksgiving holiday, with both sweet and savory options, depending on where your tastes lie. There are the requisite Thanksgiving slices, such as Grandma Jean’s pecan pie and a standard(ish) honeynut squash and pumpkin pie, but the options get more intriguing from there. Pick up a green tea swirl ricotta cheesecake, or go all out and order the “pasta pie” — savory pie made of pasta and turkey meatballs — in a full-size ($80) or half-size version ($40). Orders are available via Resy, with pickup available on Wednesday, November 27, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Humphry Slocombe

If you, too, get pie slicing anxiety, the fine folks at Humphry Slocombe have a solution for you. The ice cream purveyors are selling ice cream, of course — including some seasonal flavors perfect for the holidays — but they’re also selling duck fat mini pecan pies. The mini pies will be released at the start of November, so watch the Humphry Slocombe site for the launch.
