A Celestial Spectacle Awaits
On this special night, at least four planets will be visible, including the elusive Mercury, the dazzling Venus, the majestic Jupiter, and the striking Mars, which will be in conjunction with the Moon. In addition to these planetary wonders, you'll also get a chance to observe stunning double stars like Almach and Castor, along with the iconic constellation of Orion.
Thanks to the library’s Orion StarBlast 4.5-inch reflector telescope and the brand-new StarSense Explorer telescope, as well as equipment provided by Marin Stargazers volunteers, guests will have an incredible opportunity to view the Moon, planets, and other celestial marvels—weather permitting.
