Looking for a joyful way to welcome spring in Marin? Don’t miss one of Sausalito’s most beloved seasonal traditions—the annual Easter Parade and Egg Hunt! This family-friendly event is open to everyone and packed with fun, from colorful parades to live music and over 4,000 hidden eggs.
Event Highlights
BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket) — You’ll want it for the egg hunts!
9:45 AM – Parade lineup at the Johnson Street Fire Station
10:00 AM – Easter Parade marches down Caledonia Street
10:15 AM – Children’s Egg Hunt begins at Dunphy Park
10:30 AM – Live children’s music with In Harmony Music, face painting, and fun family caricatures
11:00 AM – Easter Bonnet Contest (no pre-registration needed!)
Kids are invited to show off their handmade Easter or spring-themed hats, judged by Sausalito Women’s Club members.
Adult Egg Hunt – $4,500+ in Local Prizes!
11:30 AM – The adults get in on the fun with their own egg hunt!
For just $25, you can hunt for thousands of eggs filled with prizes donated by local Sausalito businesses and restaurants. Tickets go on sale March 3 at 9:00 AM—this portion sells out fast!
Check-In: Between 10:30–11:15 AM near the bocce courts. Look for the blue Recreation tent to get your wristband and (yes!) mandatory bunny ears.
