November 8–9, 2025 | China Basin Park, Mission Rock | San Francisco Waterfront
San Francisco’s most iconic street food celebration is finally returning — and the city is hungry for it. After a five-year hiatus, the original San Francisco Street Food Festival is gearing up for a spectacular comeback right on the waterfront at China Basin Park, steps from Oracle Park and Mission Rock.
If you remember the early days, this legendary event started in 2009 as a small Mission District gathering — and then evolved into a massive culinary movement that once drew over 100,000 food lovers. Now, it’s returning with the same mission: to celebrate the rich, diverse flavors brought to the Bay Area by immigrant chefs and local culinary creators.
🍽️ 25+ Incredible Vendors, One Delicious Weekend
Get ready to explore a global food journey — no passport required! The festival will spotlight more than two dozen talented culinary entrepreneurs, including longtime local favorites and exciting new rising stars. From handmade dumplings to sizzling tacos, soul-warming comfort dishes to inventive modern bites — every craving will be satisfied.
Expect:
-
Small bites: $6–$12
-
Large bites: $12–$22
-
Early bird entry: $6 until Oct. 12
-
General admission: $12+ after Oct. 12
This is the perfect chance to taste dishes you can’t find just anywhere — like tlacoyitos crafted from freshly ground blue corn and dessert creations that will have you coming back for seconds (and thirds).
🌎 A Celebration of Culture, Community & Culinary Innovation
This year’s festival is also a milestone — marking the 20th anniversary of its organizing nonprofit partner, known for helping launch nearly 100 Bay Area food businesses. Many of today’s most celebrated local restaurants and food brands got their start serving lines of eager fans right here.
This return isn’t just about great food — it’s about supporting the creative small businesses that make San Francisco a global dining destination.
🎶 Food + Music + Waterfront Views
Paired with live music, festival energy, and stunning views across the bay, the new waterfront location makes this the perfect November weekend outing. Bring your appetite, gather your friends, and soak up flavors from every corner of the world — all while supporting the chefs shaping the future of Bay Area cuisine.
