Step back in time with the Time Capsule Exhibition at the iconic Transamerica Pyramid Center! Buried in 1974 beneath the Annex with instructions to remain untouched for 50 years, this extraordinary capsule has finally been unearthed, offering a rare glimpse into San Francisco’s past.
The discovery came during the recent remastering of TAPC by the world-renowned architect Lord Norman Foster, revealing a treasure trove of artifacts from the Pyramid’s early days. Visitors can explore newspaper clippings, letters, Polaroids, advertisements, leasing brochures, videos, radio spots, and even the original recipe for the Pisco Punch, San Francisco’s signature cocktail first crafted at the historic Bank Exchange Saloon—right on the TAPC site.
